Who would have known...  the Internet!  Yes, Dee & Greg met over an internet dating site.  True story.

Greg saw Dee and made the initial contact.  As Greg tells the story, they talked a couple of times, then Dee tried to lose him.  Dee gave the impression of having numerous illnesses, but to no avail.  Eventually, Dee gave in and called Greg to get together.  And as they say, the rest is history!

Dee's version is a bit different.  Dee had never been on an internet dating site before.  As she was going through the available men, she spotted Greg's picture right away.  Greg had reached out to her.  And then the phone/email conversations began.  Although Greg thought Dee was having one too many ilnesses, she was actually quite sick at the time.  Then, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Dee decided to call Greg and meet face to face.  And they haven't left each other's side ever since!

After two and a half years of dating, Dee & Greg took the opportunity of a lifetime to visit Ireland and watch Greg's cherished Alma Mater, Penn State (WE ARE...) play in Dublin.  Although Dee thought that was to be the big event of the trip, Greg had other plans.  Little did Dee know, but Greg had purchased an engagement ring and brought it with him.

As Greg tells it, his original plan was to propose during the Penn State game.  But he decided on something a bit more intimate.  On the second day of the Official Penn State Alumni tour, the group was visiting Kylemore Abbey.  On the site of the abbey, was a small gothic cathedral.  After letting the rest of the tour group know that he was going to propose, they walked the grounds of the abbey, and ended up in the cathedral.  There, before the altar, Greg got down on one knee and proposed.  Dee was so shocked, she couldn't speak.  After what seemed an eternity, Greg said it would be nice if she said something.  To which Dee said "YES!!".

The rest of the trip was spent touring Ireland with a fantastic group of friends, and being known as "that couple that got engaged".

Dee & Greg will be tying the knot on October 17, 2015.  The wedding and reception will take place at the Lancaster Elks Lodge #134 in Lancaster, PA.  Since Dee & Greg took two trips to Ireland, which is part of Dee's heritage, Dee wanted to honeymoon in a place that is part of Greg's heritage.  So, the honeymoon will begin with a two day stay in Rome, followed by a 9 day cruise of the Greek Isles on the Royal Caribbean ship Rhapsody of the Seas.

That story is yet to be written.  But I believe it has something to do with they lived happily ever after.
