We met on Plenty of Fish. Misty had almost decided to give up when Shawn sent a message "I see you are also a Star Wars nerd."  Misty: "I prefer the term geek." We chatted, then we talked on the phone and decided to met.

Jan 13th 2017 we met for the first time at Barnes and Noble at The Shops at Wiregrass. There was an instant conection. We both wanted to hold hands but didn't want to rush. So we talked for hours and we walked around. Shawn walked me to my car to say goodbye. I went in for a hug, Shawn came in for a kiss. So we had the most awkward first kiss. Which I guess was good because we both wanted a chance to have a better second kiss, and we did just a few days later.
