Darchelle's Version:

He contacted me about photography. I wasn't too much interested at the time. Maybe a few weeks later I saw something that he was selling & I wanted to purchase (because I love a good buy). So, we met up, started chatting, he seemed pretty cool. I PAID for my item!!! Let's be clear that this WAS A BUSINESS TRANSACTION FOR ME!!! I told him I would purchase from him again. 3 weeks later we were dating!!

Rickey's Version:

She contacted me wanting to "buy something," we met up a few days later. We were talking but she was flirting with me calling me "zaddy" so I knew she wanted to talk to me. I kept in touch with her over the next few weeks. Before I knew it she had trapped me into a relationship.

Rickey:

I knew it was real when a situation arose & she was literally in tears. She was balling her eyes out because she didn't know what to do. I knew she loved me then. She also took naturally to help me raise my children. I've never experienced that.

Darchelle:

I can't recall because I know I'm the G.O.A.T!!! Who doesn't love me? This one was a tough one for me because Rickey would give me his last and I couldn't see everything that he had given up to be with me. So, it took me longer to recognize that he did love me. Whew! I'm a bit much!

It was May 10, 2018 (Rickey's Birthday). We had just put the children to sleep from a few hours of celebration. We were watching a movie. Rickey asked me to come to look at something in the kitchen. I came around the corner fussing because WHY WAS HE IN THE KITCHEN??? I hit that corner & there he was on one knee!

We firmly believe that life is amazing and it should be lived out to the fullest potential! The destination wedding cruise we felt was the best of both worlds. We could leave the country without a passport and share an affordable experience with the people we love!
