Vince proposed on March 24th, 2016. It was our 5 year anniversary. It was just the two of us at our house. We were getting ready to go out to dinner for our anniversary. We agreed on not getting eachother gifts that year and just spending a great night out together. I, Ashley, came down the stairs and handed him an XBOX game we both had been wanting and said it wasn't a gift, just something small the both of us can enjoy. Then Vince stated he also had something, and got down on one knee and opened the ring box. I think at this point I went into a state of shock because I was so thrown off and surprised, but of course I SAID YES!!! I remember saying, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?" a few times and could not stop smiling (also my current face as I'm typing this). The proposal was a great memory only Vince and I get to share together. As you all are our closes friends and family, we love that we get to share it with you.
