On April 4, 2009 my friend was at Rumphshakers Bar in Trafford, where Frankie was the bartender. She text me and said I found the man of your dreams you have to come down here. She text me pictures of him and I text a picture of myself to her to show him, along with questions to ask him. After she got the answers and found out he was interested in meeting me, I headed to the bar. Once I got there he served me Washington Apples and left shortly after that to get hoagies for the bar. When he returned he immediately checked on me to make sure I was okay. He then continued to make sure everyone else was taken care of. At that point I knew that he was caring and he put everyone else before him. When his shift ended he asked me to go to the movies to see I Love You Man with his friends, where he made sure I was comfortable with being by myself with 3 people I did not know. After the movie ended we went to Fridays and Penn Monroe for drinks and were out until 2 am. He was true gentleman the entire night and gave me his phone number to call him if I wanted to see him again. The next afternoon I called him and at first he did not know who I was, but he remembered shortly after me explaining that we hung out the night before. He asked me to go out on a date with him on April 8, 2009 and I agreed. We went to Bettis’ Grille and quickly found out we are both picky eaters and have a lot in common. After that date we spoke every day and went on a few more dates. On April 16, 2009 he asked me to be his girlfriend. From that day we have been inseparable and have experienced many firsts in our lives together while creating lots of happy memories. Fast forward to December 30, 2017, Frankie called me into our bedroom. He pulled out an engagement ring from his dresser drawer and dropped down on one knee. He told me how much he loves me and how he didn’t want to go another year without me being his fiancée. I pulled him up and said Yes! Since that moment we have been planning our wedding together and are looking forward to saying I Do in front of all of you! |
