Shawn and I met on a dating site, only to find out we were on the same campus going to the same school! We chatted for about a month before I asked  him to come out for a night of Mexican cuisine... (Honestly, that's something I never do! Ask a guy out!!) Earlier that day while I was driving, I happened to have changed lanes to avoid sitting behind a stopped bus. As I changed lanes to get in front of the bus, the bus began to move forward resulting in a slight bumper bump. I turned the corner to get out of traffic and got out of the car and the bus kept going... Later, I was excited to meet Shawn, but I had a belly full of guilt.  So I met up with him, and immediately forgot about my incident with the bus as my interests were far from fender benders:) At the end of our date, the guilt crept up and I imagined someone from on the bus recording my licence plates and reporting me. My sudden, fearful daydream evolved to being taken to jail because someone had seen me hit a bus full of people. So I kindly asked Shawn to come to the police station with me... I had no clue if he thought I was a looney girl asking him to come with me to the police station, but there was something about his Aura, energy and presence that really made me feel safe and secure.

To clarify the woman initiating the first date.....I was enjoying our online conversations as it was nice to have a real conversation! Due to previous experiences, if you ask a woman out too early, you risk the conversations to cease. I guess the same goes with waiting too long, bit I was unsure of when the right time was... Luckily, my birthday was coming up and Nichole decided to ask me to meet :). We met at a Mexican restaurant downtown and had a really good time. Afterwards, Nichole tells me about the events leading up to dinner and asks if I would accompany her to the Police Station. This was definitely a strange request for a first date, but I understood the situation and wanted to continue spending time with her, so I happily agreed. From that point on, we continued to spend time with each other and the rest is history! :)
