Couple's Frequently Asked Questions
What is a honeymoon gift registry?
This honeymoon gift registry is similar to a store gift registries, whereby you register for items you wish to receive as wedding gifts. This registry allows you to register components of your honeymoon or destination wedding online. Your wedding guests will then give you portions of your vacation as a wedding gift! Back To TopWhy should we use the Royal Caribbean International Honeymoon Registry?
Using the Royal Caribbean International Honeymoon Registry allows you to pre-plan what you want to do on your honeymoon or at your destination wedding. Using a honeymoon registry is so much more personal than asking your guests outright for cash! Guests will choose something special that they would like to give you as a wedding gift. Unlike getting envelopes with checks in them at the wedding and leaving the next day for your honeymoon cruise, a honeymoon gift registry allows you to know ahead of time what you will have available for the amenities and extras on your cruise.
Back To TopWhen will we receive gift funds from this honeymoon registry?
Receiving all the wonderful gifts your friends and family purchase for your Royal Caribbean Cruise is simple.
Gift funds for your items purchased will be automatically transferred to your ship as an Onboard Credit. This will show as a credit to your stateroom account for use during your cruise and may be used for purchasing most items that can be charged to your stateroom. Please note the actual amount of your onboard credit may not be visible the first day of the cruise. It may take a few days to show on your stateroom account.
Your Royal Caribbean booking number, ship and sailing date are required before any gift fund transfers are made to your onboard account. You will receive an email each time a gift item is purchased. Please note this gift item purchase does not constitute that the item has been automatically ordered. All gift items from your registry will be an Onboard Credit that is to be used to reserve and pay for onboard activities, dining reservations, spa reservations and shore excursions. Reservations and payments are required to be completed onboard. It is suggested you make all your reservations and appointments early on during your cruise. Please note that space may be limited for certain activities.
All gift funds must be used while onboard, are non-refundable and non transferable. Gift items can be purchased up to seven (7) days prior to your sailing date. Unused gift funds can be used to settle other onboard charges from your cruise, even if that item was not registered for.

Back To TopDo you book the activities on my honeymoon registry for me?
This will depend on the item that has been purchased for you. Once a gift noted as a "Stateroom Amenity" has been purchased for you, these items will be booked for you. Once a gift noted as "Onboard Credit" has been purchased for you, this will be added to your SeaPass for you to use as onboard credit. Once a gift noted as a "pre-book item" has been purchased we recommend you pre-book the item yourself as it may sell out for your sailing. You can pre-book the item starting 90 days before your sailing by visiting RoyalCaribbean.com > Before You Board > Pre-Cruise Planner or calling 800-398-9819. All items must be booked four days prior to sailing or will otherwise have to be booked while onboard.
Back To TopHow will I know how much to ask for?
When you set up your honeymoon registry, we give you a suggested gift amount for each tour or activity per person in that area or per couple (see notes to couple if applicable). However, for most you are free to ask for whatever you would like. We recommend using varied denominations to accommodate all guests and checking with your travel professional or supplier for exact pricing.
All prices vary by location, availability, and are subject to change without notice. You can break down the amounts any way you choose. (Please note that this does not apply on all items.) For example, if an item is going to cost you $200.00, you may ask for "2 gifts of $100.00" or "4 gifts of $50.00," etc.
For registries with items that are being booked for you or sent directly to you or your ship, you will find the amount will be preset for you in differing increments.
Back To TopHow am I notified of a purchase from my honeymoon gift registry?
