Lyle and I met online in 2013. Our first date was November 29,2013 which happened to be Black Friday. We have been dating ever since that first date. Lyle proposed on October 25,2015.

It was a beautiful day for a hike. Lyle had it all planned out and has been planning for 40 days or so.We were going to spend the day hiking together. Lyle found a place in Brunswick that had different ledges. It was beautiful with all the different colors and it was nice and quiet. We have a joke between us about me not turning off the lights in the house because I never do. A couple weeks before he proposed we had made a deal if I could turn off lights for 6 Months he would think about proposing. I did not last 1 week.So we got to the first ledge we started talking about our deal and he said he was feeling generous about it and asked how long I could turn off the lights for. I said a week. He told me that would not be enough time to be able to get stuff planned for a proposal. I said fine how about till December. He then pulled out a Tardis ring box and said well how about today.... And dropped to one knee. The ring is a one of the kind custom ring that would match me perfectly with diamonds and sapphires. We then started walking back to the car because we wanted to share with family the good news. I wanted to call my family but he told me my entire family knew but he did not tell anything in his family. So we had to go to o his house to tell his family . When we arrived I only saw his parents cars, he pointed out his brothers. I was in for a complete shock when I walked into his house as both families were there for a surprise party. It was a great ending to a day full of surprises.
