In 2017 Vii had been hunting online for some new art for their computer desktop and stumbled upon a really unique shop through the then popular platform, Tumblr. It was the middle of winter in Massachusetts and they wanted some new pieces to redecorate their space after being couped up in the cold for one night too long. After making one too many impulsive purchases, a free print arrived with their most recent order. Completely enamored, they ran to their Twitter to send a thank you the artist, never expecting a reply. What they did not expect was to almost immediately be recognized by their favorite artist. Shy, and a little starstruck, Vii threw their phone only to wake up to a message from the same artist explaining their gratitude for all their past orders. That artist, was Wesley, and the two spent every single day since then messaging and visiting back and forth, until closing the distance permenantly in 2021.
