These are the dingbats that make up our daily lives.  Yes, dingbats!  The only ones who seem to stick around are the ones who have no choice, or the ones who have insanity tendencies. ;)

Harper Danielle Doherty

Sorry for the sideways shot!

Child one - the truly weird one.

Harper, a.k.a. Gigi, is going to be a senior at Georgia Tech this fall.  Her undergraduation degree will be Pre-med Biology and she intends to take a gap year and then go on to Medical School.  The weird part is that somehow she managed to get a super duper installation of braininess.  She's flippin' 17!

She is a daredevil and enjoys rock climbing and aerial performing arts and recently won second place in a state wide talent competition at the Georgia Aquarium for an aerial silks performance.

Aiden Patrick Doherty

Child two - The thug

This boy right here keeps us all on our toes.  He is amazingly intelligent but like to spend his energy on steriotypically less "intelligent" pursuits - Fortnite and rap music.  He is in 9th grade and keeps GREAT grades despite his time consuming hobbies.  For all others, a true gentleman and courteous sould

His accolades include achieving the ranking of third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  Yeah - we're scared of him (He's also 6'1") - don't tell him.

Madison Louise Selby

Child three - the beautiful jock!

This one is also in 9th grade and also maintains unbelievable grades all while showing her prowess on the softball and track fields.  Yep, she's blessed all around. Madison is a lovely girl who is quite reserved in most situtations, save for in a group of her girl friends and man oh man does that get loud!

So excited to have her as an "extra" daughter!

Marleigh Kimana Rose Doherty

Child four - Untitled

Ok - so I haven't figured this one out yet.  She's my challenge on a good day.  She's beautiful, funny, and she has an artistic lean.  I believe she may turn out to be my creative child if I can just learn how to channel it.

Marleigh is 7 and was adopted by me and my ex.   She was with us from the day she left the hospital and I have to give her credit for making me who I am today.  I'm sure she will continue to make me (or break me).  God knows what the future holds but I think I'm ready.
