july 22, 2017. We went away to Old Orchard Beach, Maine for the week. It took us about 6 hours to get there, due to traffic. The whole way we were talking, singing, and laughing- as normal. However, Tyler seemed anxious, knowing him so well, I figured it was due to the overwhelming amount of traffic. Little did I know, he was planning something wonderful.

After settling into the beach house, we went out to dinner with his family. On our way back to the house, Tyler asked me to go for a long walk on the beach. We finally stopped walking (after what felt like forever). Tyler distracted me with a lighthouse off in the distance, it was dark, but we could see the lights. As I turned back around to face him, Tyler was on his knee asking me to be his wife and keep me forever! It was the best day so far. Tyler knowing the beach is my favorite place to be, he truly made this vacation a fairy tale.

Our friends happened to wander upon us on the beach, as I was crying hysterically- very embarrassing. But we were able to spend the night at the bar with them celebrating our new adventures to come!
