I can still remember the day I met Jacob. It was a hot day in October, it was the Alabama vs. South Carolina football game. I went with a friend planning on tailgate hoppin' and meeting up with other people. I will never forget black7, where I met jacob at this tailgate. He was a friend of my friend that I came with. She introduced us, and we exchanged hugs. He brought us back to the tailgate where I met his oldest brother. Being a shy girl my whole life, I found a chair to sit in and wait for the game, while Jacob and his brother partied as I watched. Taking note how good looking he was, I was mostly attracted to his fun loving personality. He loved to have a good time and was obviously a HUGE gamecock fan. We talked to eachother occasionally on the back of a pick up truck, while we cheered on the gamecocks. I then moved back to my chair and Carolina started to play bad. Jacob then called me to come back to the bed of the truck with him and declared me his "good luck charm" associating me leaving his side, was making the gamecocks play bad. I thought, oh okay, he's just trying to spit some game at me. I came back to sit with him, and we ended up beating Alabama. Which was a huge win for us. Jacob asked to hangout that night, but I said I couldn't and we ended up going seperate ways. Wishing I had gotten his number. I ended up telling my friend that I came with, "He's is a good contender, to be my future boyfriend." We both laughed and I shrugged it off thinking that I wouldn't see him again. A few days later, I was with my friend and he ended up texting her asking for my number. We became facebook friends and started texting and hanging out a little. Everything happened all of a sudden and 7 days later, we started dating without knowing too much about eachother. But we had to build a foundation and go from there. And if anyone knows me, knows that decision making isn't a good quality of mine, but this one decision was the BEST one I have ever made in my entire life. Throughout our relationship we talked about getting married, and spending the rest of our lives with eachother and there was do doubt that we were both ready for the commitment. On March 17, 2012 he popped the question. I gladly said yes! Who knew that I would meet the man of my dreams, and the guy I am spending the rest of my life with at a Carolina football game?! But I wouldn't want it any other way!

Our wedding is October 12, 2012 at St. David Lutheran Church. We chose October because it was the month that we met. While Jacob pushed for a gamecock themed wedding, he let me make the decision and we decided to go for the fall themed wedding. It was perfect! I cannot wait to walk up the aisle as Heidi Williams and walk back down as Heidi Spires. We cannot wait to share it with our closest family and friends!

Our reception will be held at Reflections Banquet Hall following the wedding. There will be dining, drinks, and dancing. Please join us to celebrate our new lives as Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Spires! We can't wait to see y'all there!!

Jacob and I would like to thank all of our friends and family for the love and support you have given us, We would like to especially thank our parents for everything they have done for us to make this all possible! We love you! Thank you for visiting our wedding website. We can't wait to share our special day with everyone!
