 | I'm not sure how many people really know this, but Heather and I used to work together at Lane Bryant. Our story is a bit scandless, but never the less it our story. Heather used to work for me as a Store Manager, and I was her DM. I remember the first time I met her. She was working at Gap, and I was out recruiting for an opening I had. Normally you walk into a store, and observe behaviors that the store associates are doing. That day was very differant. I walked into the store, and immediately she greated me. She had the biggest smile, and greated me like she knew me for 10 years. I really don't remember what she even said to me. I had this feeling inside me I still to this day can't explain. Even talking about it now, give me butterflys. As I was walking around the store, I kept watching her. Normally store associates just go back to what they were doing, but she kept watching me. So I engaged in retail conversation, and put our focuses back into work. We always had a connection more than work, but never really knew what it was. Many years later, and realignments within Lane Bryant, we were brought back together. When I stepped down from my position, I reached out to her for help with something personally. She was so understanding, and became a friend at that point. If it wasn't for her, I don't think that I would be as happy as I am today. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. She is a beautiful person inside, and out. She helps me grow everyday, and accepts me for my faults. All thru life, I have felt sad. In the 6 years that we have been together, we have had challenges like most couples do, but my life was and still is still very amazing. I thank god for bringing her to me!
