Hey Everybody! EXTREMELY LONG POST AHEAD!!!! But extremely important!!! This post is mostly geared towards our Australian friends that will be travelling but it may also help answer some questions that other’s may have.

We will be flying from Darwin to Las Vegas on 05 November 2016.

There are many affordable shuttle services from the airport to the strip. You can get a shared van for $11usd per person on the following link:

http://www.shuttlelasvegas.com/

There are also many rental car options you can choose from! Remember in America we drive on the “right” side of the road! LOL

Accommodations in Vegas for 5-11/11 will be at the Flamingo. Now saying this, you guys don’t have to stay at The Flamingo; there are so many hotels on the strip that fit every budget and desire! Rooms as cheap as $44usd a night at the Excalibur to as extravagant as $899usd a night at the Bellagio!

For those of you joining us on the cruise from the wedding, the details are as follows:

Flights from Vegas to Miami:

11 November 2016
AA2390 LAS 10:35PM – MIA 06:17AM (Next Morning)

Flights have been steadily getting more and more expensive from Vegas to Miami (alternatively you can fly into Fort Lauderdale – airport code FLL), so I would highly recommend booking this trip as soon as you can.

There is shuttle service available from the airport to the cruise port and back. The cruise departs from PORT EVERGLADES WHICH IS IN FORT LAUDERDALE.

Royal Caribbean offers shuttle service which you would need to include with your reservation. If you travel from Miami International Airport to Port Everglades, then the shuttle is worth it. If you are flying into Fort Lauderdale it’s cheaper to get a taxi, this will be about $20usd.

Shuttles from the airport to the port are about $25-$40usd per person.
Here are just a few of many options:

It is important to book your transport to and from the airport in advance because security at the port will not allow vehicles in unless they are there to pick someone up with a reservation.

I have booked a shuttle to transport 10 of us from Miami to Port Everglades.  First come, First serve! It'll be about $30 per person, tip included.

Cruise Details:

We’ll be sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas.

The cruise departs from Port Everglades on 12 November 2016. We arrive back at Port Everglades on 20 November 2016.
