What is the deadline to RSVP?
Kindly RSVP by September 28th. Late RSVPs cannot be accepted as the guest count has already been provided to the vendors.
Am I allowed to bring my children or a plus one?
Due to limited space, we kindly request that children be left at home with a sitter or family member so that everyone can fully enjoy the evening. The names of all invited guests were included on the original invitation; if you believe we may have overlooked anyone, please let us know. Any uninvited guests will be asked to leave.
Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
The ceremony and reception will be held at the Maryland National Golf Club, 8836 Hollow Rd, Middletown, MD 21769
Will there be parking available at the venue?
Yes! There will be plenty of free parking available.
What time is the wedding ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive between 3:15 PM and 3:30 PM to ensure a smooth start. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, please remain in your car until it concludes to avoid any disruptions. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
What time is the reception?
The reception will begin at 5:30 PM and end at 9:00 PM.
Is the ceremony and reception outdoors or indoors?
The ceremony will be held outdoors at the Maryland National Golf Club, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will move the ceremony indoors. The reception will also be held indoors at the same beautiful venue. Since the wedding is in November and Maryland weather can be unpredictable, please check the forecast before the outdoor ceremony.
What is the dress code for the event?
The dress code is formal. We encourage guests to dress stylishly yet comfortably for the occasion. Please avoid wearing white or ivory dresses, as well as jeans.
Will there be an open bar at the reception?
Yes, there will be an open bar at the reception. Enjoy a selection of beverages throughout the event!
Will there be an after party?
Yes, after the reception, we’ll head to Belle's Sports Bar and Grill at 1202 E Patrick St, Frederick, MD 21701
How do I book a hotel room?
A hotel block has been reserved for the Raber Nichols Wedding from Friday, October 31, 2025, to Sunday, November 2, 2025. The minimum stay is one night, with a rate of $154 per night (excluding tax). To book a room, please visit the "Travel" tab of our wedding website for the reservation link, or call 301-631-2000. Be sure to mention the 'Raber Nichols Wedding' to receive any special rates or offers available for our guests.
Final Booking Deadline: Friday, October 3, 2025. After this date, any unreserved rooms will be returned to the hotel's general inventory. While additional rooms may be added to our block once it fills, this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Complimentary breakfast is included with your hotel reservation.
Is transportation provided between the hotel and the venue?
We kindly ask that guests make their own transportation arrangements. The venue is about a 17-minute drive from the hotel. We recommend arranging for a designated driver or sharing an Uber with others to help keep costs down. While we would have loved to offer transportation, it's unfortunately beyond our budget. We truly appreciate your understanding and all of your support.
How can I contribute to the wedding registry?
We’re excited to share that we’ve set up a honeymoon fund as part of our registry! You can contribute in two ways:
1. Send us money via a payment app (like Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp) to help us create unforgettable memories on our honeymoon. The links to these payment options can be found under the "Registry" tab on our wedding website.
2. Pay for specific items or experiences directly on our cruise ship through the registry link or by calling 800-801-3493. You can select from a list of activities, excursions, or upgrades that we’ll enjoy during our trip.
3. Bring a cash gift to the wedding! A cash box will be available at the reception for those who prefer to give a physical contribution.
