A facebook friend request started it all...fast forward 2 and a 1/2 years and two young lovebirds are getting married! The story began when Jake sent a Facebook friend request on June 19th, 2020. Emily accepted, seeing a racecar in the profile picture she knew they would eventually run into each other at the track. Jake commented on Emily's birthday post on June 30th, 2020. Emily wasn't going to let someone comment on her profile without figuring out who they are. With that being said they got to talking and eventually set a date to meet each other in person for the first time on July 28th, 2020. Emily was running late, as usual, and Jake was already in the racecar, therefore Emily met Blythe, Jake's mom, before she met who was going to be her future husband. August 14, 2020 the two officialy became a couple. Emily then moved in with the Bedell's in July of 2021. Jake and Emily then moved into an apartment of their own in August of 2022. After getting settled in the apartment and getting in a routine, Jake proposed to Emily on November 12th, 2022. The date that the young lovebirds will be "cruisin' into love" on the Odessey of The Seas Cruise is March 25th, 2023!!!
