So on September 10, 2016, we were on vacation in New Orleans. I knew I was going to propose on this trip (and I suspect Beth knew too, lol), but wasn't sure where or when to do it.

I had first thought that during our day at City Park, but it began to rain and didn't feel right for whatever reason.

So, that evening, we had a reservation for a restaurant called Bayona. It is a fine dining restaurant and considered a "French Quarter Gem" that is inside a 200 year old Creole cottage and has a revered Executive Chef, Susan Spicer.

So after ordering our appetizer, in front of all the folks in the dining room, I got on one knee and asked..
