The story of us is one of my favourites. I met Aaron very shortly after a break up on Tinder after he "Super Liked Me" and I was wondering who on earth would super like me. Nearly immediately I realized how much we had in common and how much I enjoyed talking with him. Aaron was kind, supportive and funny however by this point I had gone away for the summer. I told Aaron that I was using this time to get to know myself again and be independent, to my surprise his answer was "I'll wait". We continued to talk throughout the summer some nights we would talk till 2am without a thought about it and that was perfect. Soon enough I made the best choice in my life and accepted his proposal to be his girlfriend. We cooked, we watched movies, we helped each other achieve goals. In February 2018, we moved into our own apartment with the help of our parents. In July 2018, we got our rescue dog Charlie whom we adore. Then one day in November Aaron and I went grocery shopping as we do each week. When home I began to unpack the groceries from the backpack, I opened the front pocket and saw a small box. Aaron immediately said "What are you doing? Nothing is in there!" I said okay and continued like nothing had happened. I knew what was in that box and I was thrilled, I told all my best friends with glee and impatiently waited dropping hints each day. Finally, the day of the Toronto Santa Claus parade came, and I was getting ready to go to out for Lunch. Aarons dad came to pick us up but first joined us in the apartment. Aaron handed me a letter with all his feelings written down and as I got to the end, Aaron was on one knee asking me to marry him. Of course, I said yes and now were here, planning our wedding and I’m thrilled to marry my best friend.
