I've known Jeunetta for 14 years. We met at work and instantly became friends. We were both single mothers of sons who were relatively close in age. They also became friends. We traveled the world together with our boys and made tons of memories that we still laugh about today. Jeunetta is also Zach's Godmother.
Jillian is my sister. Although we struggled to get along as kids, now that we are all grown up we are closer than ever. We spend a week in Ocean City together every year and have tons of fun. Jill just made me an Aunt (FINALLY!!!) and I couldn't be happier :o)
Kailey is my soon-to-be stepdaughter. This beautiful girl is so smart, funny and awesome there is never a dull moment when she is around. She LOVES to read (just like me) and is so creative (not like me). I'm so happy to have her stand up with me on our special day.
This adoreable girl stole mine and Zach's heart from the minute we met her. Sadie attends the same daycare as Zach. She is such a sweetheart and we are so glad we have her in our lives.
Isaiah is my oldest child. He loves tearing things apart and fixing things. He gets excited about anything with a motor. He sometimes is a little goofy. I think he may have gotten this trait from me. I am proud to have Isaiah supporting Cheryl and myself.
Jonathan is Cheryl's oldest son and my future stepson. Jonathan is very intelligent and has an excellent memory. It seems he can quote just about anything or any subject that we are discussing. I was thrilled when he decided to take the position as Groomsman.
Reese and I met through work. He was aspiring to do much more than he was at the time. We eventually became friends despite that fact that we had competing positions. We learned that we can have a disagreement and quickly switch to friendly conversation when the work issues are done being discussed. We very easily can switch off over an occasional beer or a Wendys work lunch.
After meeting Cheryl, Zach was the first family member of Cheryl's that I met. He and I quickly hit it off. I think I may have won him over before Cheryl. As far as I am concerned he is my youngest child. He sometimes competes with me when it comes to Cheryl's attention. He always wins.
