I was completely shocked! Dani had obviously been planning for months for the location to be Locust Beach - which is only fun if the weather is nice. Sarah & Cassi had the task of convincing me to go to the beach, however I reached out to them first because I thought it would be a good beach day! When i saw the first banner hanging, I noticed little pictures around the edge and thought "oh man someone is doing something cheesy today!" As I got closer, i realized the pictures were of me and Dani. At that moment I flew down the hill, not pausing to take anything in because I knew Dani would be waiting for me at the bottom of the hill.

After 3 years of dating, Dani proposed to Emily at their favorite beach in Bellingham on 9/24/2017. Dani had a team of helpers to pull off surprising Emily. Bridesmaids Cassi and Sarah had the difficult job of getting Emily to the beach while briadesmaids Haley and Jessica helped Dani set up the location for several hours. Dani hung over 50 photos of their relationship from the trees on the stairway deep to the beeach. At the bottom of the stairs, Dani was a little shakey with the ring. Afterwards, the whole group drank champagne on the beach. It was everything Dani had planned and the surprise propsal Emily was hoping for.
