The big day is quickly approaching and we couldn't be more excited!  Although, there are often times that the anticipation is overwhelming and it can't come soon enough.  :)  The planning has been smooth sailing and the whole process has been such a great experience for us, particularly thanks to the team at Cross Creek Ranch.  When it's all said and done, it will be a memorable wedding for everyone and we look forward to sharing our special day with all of you.

Some of you have asked about our registry, and conveniently, you can access it by clicking "Gift Registry" in the menu to the left.  You're able to make your selections right through this site and they will be electronically delivered to us.  :)

IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW!!!

Most of you will be traveling, so we have created this site to help keep you informed of everything we can possibly think you'll need to know.  So keep checking back for updates, and if we've left something out, let us know!

May 25... Hilton Garden Inn is accepting bookings for our blocked rooms.  Click the "Hotel/Travel Info" on the left for the web link and phone number.

June 1... Enterprise and National Car Rental have discounted rates available for our guests.  The information to book your rental car is in the "Hotel/Travel Info" tab on the left.

July 14... Just a reminder that August 11 is quickly approaching and we will need to have all RSVP's (with full names) of everyone attending.  Unfortunately, no changes can be made following our final meeting with Cross Creek.  So click the RSVP tab to the left and we'll see you in October!!!

August 15... On Saturday evening October 10, we will be having a pool party/cocktail hour at the Hilton around 6:30-8:30.  This will be a great time for everyone to socialize and get to know one another, especially since most of you have never met.  Even if you're not staying at the hotel, please come join us and have a drink, take a dip in the heated pool and join in the fun.  Hopefully all of you who are traveling will be staying with us at the Hilton Garden Inn.  Maggie and I will be there late Friday through Monday morning when we leave for our honeymoon and we look forward to spending as much time with everyone as we possibly can.  

August 26... Just about 2 weeks left to ensure you get a room in our reservation block at the Hilton Garden Inn.  You do not need to use this 'block' to get a room, it just ensures we will have enough for all guests.  Some outside sources may offer a better rate, so feel free to check around!

September 16... Many have asked about the proper attire for the wedding.  It is not black tie, but we do ask that everyone come dressed nicely, and comfortable so that you can enjoy the evening.  Ladies, we HIGHLY recommend you do not wear heels (or floor-length dresses) since the property is mostly brick, pavers, grass, mulch, and various uneven surfaces.  

IMPORTANT!!!  Arrival for the ceremony... It is critical that ALL guests be on property at Cross Creek NO LATER than 4:30 for the ceremony at 5:00.  There is only one way to get to the chapel from the parking lot (a bridge over the creek) and that will be blocked off at 4:45.  CCR has made it clear they will not make any exceptions to the timeline, and any guests not seated by 4:45 will unfortunately miss the ceremony.

October 5... Just a reminder about the registry... October 8 is the last day to be able to contribute to our honeymoon celebration with Royal Caribbean.

Also, when you arrive at the hotel, don't forget to tell them you're there for the wedding so they can give you information for the weekend, including events, times, addresses/phone numbers, and directions.  That includes the private party for ALL guests (regardless if you're staying at the hotel or not), at the Hilton Garden Inn on Saturday from 6:30-8:30 by the pool.
