It was in December 2014, when my uncle had asked me to take his wife to their Annual Christmas Church Service. Honestly, I did not want to ride from Cedar Harbour to Marsh Harbour, this was actually a task that my mother would do but she duck out on me. Moving right along, I got to Marsh Harbour picked up my aunt, however to my surprise I was suppose to give Jason a ride to the Church, but he had already left. In my inner voice I was like (thank God)! My Aunt and I arrived at the Church, Parish Hall Angelican Church, the service went by swiftly and was well attended.

It was now time to go and feast at the Great Abaco Beach Hotel. Now I am thinking it will be my aunt and I, however I was asked to give (this dark chocolate guy)in my mind a ride, okay sure not a problem. He introduced his self, Jason Mckenzie. After arriving at Great Abaco Beach, we were seated at the table where everyone engaged in various conversations. We ate, laughed and socialized like any ordinary event. After all, good things must come to an end. Later that evening I dropped my Aunt and Jason off. 

My eyes had captured one of Cedar Harbour's fine felines! From the day I saw Shaniqua, I wanted to get to know her  but I was to shy to even open my mouth. Her smile, her eyes and her beauty was breathtaking, I knew right then I had to do my investigation(that I did). The next day I question one of my coworkers for more information on her and to get her number. I was lucky I got the number, now it was time to use it. So much went on in my head and I was afraid as to what she would say. But I gived it my best shot! We ended up texting and getting to know each other some more but clearly she was not on my run. We texted off and on for a while, but I was determine to pursue a relationship with her. We had stop talking to each other for almost a year. 

One day while at work I went through my phone not realizing I had a text from Shaniqua for almost two weeks that I did not respond to. When I responded to make sure that was her, which it was, I said seriously If she is ready to be mines.
