Bride

On the morning of May 25, 2013, I knew that this was the day to ask Tiffany to spend the rest our lives together. This day also marked our two-month anniversary. With me presenting her with a promise ring a month prior, Tiffany had no idea what was going to happen that sunny afternoon. I went to my truck, prayed, and got the ring and the two candles I purchased the night before. It was perfect timing when I returned because Tiffany was in a different room, which gave me time to set up the two candles. Each candle had an aroma based on a specific theme; one theme was Sea to Sand and the other theme was Paris Day Dream City of Love. So I placed the ring in one of the candles. Tiffany returned to the room and I presented her with the Sea to Sand themed candle. I shared how this themed candle reminds me of our unconditional and endless love for each other. As she smelled the Sea to Sand candle and thanked me, I dropped down on one knee with the Paris Day Dream City of Love themed candle. I believe she saw the ring inside the candle jar as she began to breathe differently and it was at this point we both knew what was happening. I continued on to explained the significance of Paris Day Dream City of Love theme where I shared with Tiffany that "every day with you is like a beautiful dream and no matter what city we're in, no matter what we are doing it always feels like it is a city of Love!" I proceeded to ask Tiffany to spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife with God being the continued foundation of our relationship, engagement, and marriage. After Tiffany reasserting that God is and will continue to be our foundation for our marriage and my strong affirmation and commitment to that, Tiffany said yes!! That was the happiest day of my Life!!

One happy and thankful groom,
