Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a selection of important frequently asked questions from Royal Carribbean's main website.

IMPORTANT: How do payments work when purchasing a room?

Although deposits are made per stateroom, fees to book a cruise are done per person. Rates are based on rooms with double occupancy. If a single guest wishes to go, they are required to pay double, however, there are studio rooms that will only require you to pay 1 1/2 times. If you are a single guest that would like to go on the cruise, please reach out to Justin and Travis if you would like us to help you find another guest to room with!

Does Royal Carribbean offer onboard internet options on their cruise?

Yes - There are 2 options to connect while cruising. You can purchase a VOOM Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) package, or visit an iCafe internet station on board (pay per hour).

Are there activites for children and teens aboard the cruise?

Yes! In fact, there is an Adventure Ocean Youth Program that offers adventure and education for kids ages 3-17. Different age groups participate in different activites and programs.

Help! I've never cruised before! What different types of excursions are available?

Many activities exist, such as (but not limited to) - Whitewater rafting, Glass-Bottom boat tours, Deep-sea fishing, Kayaking, Horseback riding, 4x4 off roading, SCUBA, wildlife tours, and more.

So how much does this trip cost?

The cost is really up to you! A rough ballpark estimate is approximately $2,000 per person, but this will go up or down depending on many, many factors, such as the type of stateroom (room) you book, flight (roundtrip to and from Miami), port shopping, excursions, and other items purchased.

Is my +1 allowed to come with me?

Of course!

Is food included with the cruise, or do I have to pay extra?

The main dining room and cruise ship buffet will be included with your booking fare, but there may be a few specialty items that cost extra. There are also special restaurants on the ship, some are free, and some cost money (either by cover charge or a la carte). Ususally, the additional casual restaurants are fre while the upscale/sit down restaurants have a cost.

Is food available 24/7?

Yes, food should be available 24/7. Options may be limited after normal wake hours.

Is there room service?

Yes, this may be an additional charge (sometimes it's free during the day, but they will tend to charge late at night).
