They were both new to Sacramento, and it did not take long for them to become friends. They became even closer in the years after City Year and, although Jupiter has since moved back to the East Coast, they stay bonded over their love of dogs, houseplants, and crafts. We love Jupiter for being such a genuine and authentic friend. Not to mention, she is absolutely hilarious and can brighten up any room! |

 |  | | Venessa and Alex met during Alex's sophomore year of high school. They took the bus together everyday, and one day, Venessa told (not asked) Alex that they should do a sleepover. They quickly became best friends and have been embarked on many adventures together--from getting piercings together, galavanting in Spain, and even getting matching tattoos. We love Venessa for her kind heart, outoging nature, and sense of humor. |

Either way, they couldn't be closer friends--Macc was even there for our engagement! Macc and Avery share a love of sports, videogames, and music. They were introduced to each other as two young and upcoming rappers and they soon learned that their rap skills weren't the only thing they had in common. Today, the two friends can be found playing NBA 2K or showing each other new music that has caught their ear. We love SirJae for his unique sense of humor, his kind heart, and his authenticity. |
