Bride

Ahh I remember that wonderful day! I had just told someone off at work, that I had hated all year. The day before I had gotten my belly button pierced with the whole "Carpe Diem" idea ringing in my head, and on May 5th I awoke with no children in my apartment. I was a single gal with no kids for the day. So I did what any gal does: I went to the "Dollar Tree!"

While there I got in line behind a guy who was wearing this butch, black leather jacket. He had this motorcyle helmet under his arm, and you could tell he was quite proud of it. Once I got outside and was sitting in my car, I was surprised when the same man taped on my window to ask me if I wanted to join him and a friend at "B-Dubs" for lunch. Figuring that the worse that could happen was I would get a free lunch, I agreed and watched him drive off in this amazing, manly, glorious....scooter.

Somehow, still not sure how, I got to the restaurant before him. (I still did not know his name, btw.) While waiting for him to arrive, I saw this guy get out of his car and walk into "B-Dubs." He was wearing this faded gray shirt and khaki shorts and all I remember thinking was "Damn, that guy has nice calves!" I hope he is 'the friend!"

Turns out it was! The biker-dude introduced himself as Matt, and upon learning Mark's name, I noticed he had really memorable eyes and the deepest voice I had ever heard in person. After a few hours.....it was done. I realized that while Matt was a great guy, Mark was the one I wanted to be with. Fearing he was one of those loyal guys who would never hit on a girl who had come with his friend, I used every femanine charm I had. I wanted Mark to know I was interested. Seven and a half years later....it seems it worked!
