Harry had purchased the ring months before, but was debating multiple ways of popping the question. He wanted it to be a surprise and memorable. After a lot of deliberation, he had made his plan and began collaborating to pull it all together. On a family trip home to Nebraska, he mysteriously left the house multiple times on errand runs to grab all the tools for this big plan.

Harry had crafted 10 different boxes numbered 1-10 with instructions that Jess must open #10 first and work her way to #1. Some of the gifts included socks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and other random items which all lead to be clues to box #2. #2 was a cruise vacation for the two of them leaving just a few weeks later. At this point, this surprise was huge and did not leave Jessica thinking anything about #1. When beginning to open number one, it was full of paper with a tag that said "pull me". As Jessica began to pull the tag, a string was attached and she began to pull out a tag that says "will you marry me?" at the bottom with the ring sparkling and dangling. Jess turned to Harry and busted out crying and Harry had to ask again "so is that a yes?!" As she continued to ugly sob, Jess said "yes!"

After the tears and ugly sobbing had stopped, that is when she first even noticed the ring. "He did good, he did good!"
