Born on 1st September 1989, to Stewart and Fiona Baron, Katherine Margaret Baron would grow into a beautiful, intelligent young woman with a wealth of kindness and compassion. Whether roaming the streets of Elderslie with her younger sister Rachel, or patrolling the halls of Castlehead Secondary with her squad "The Pouffes" (though this nickname would not be earned till many years later), Katie was a friend to all. This ballroom dancing, Lion King lover went onto attend The University of Glasgow, gaining a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and then a Post Grad in Primary Teaching! Other interests emerged over the years including a fondness for sporting greats like Roger Federer, and soap world greats like Steve McDonald! All the while she picked up a job in the Childrenswear Department where she would go on to meet a certain nerdy medical student.....

Dr Ryan Alexander Devlin MBCHb MRCPsych, started off with a lot fewer letters after his name, being born 14th of September 1988, to Robert and Carol Ann Devlin. Spending his childhood ranking up nerd points in rapid fashion, much to his father's despair as the family love of football seemed to pass him by, Ryan could be found nose deep in a book such as The Hobbit or Narnia, or his partially sighted eyes glued to Star Wars and Thundercats for much of his early years. Once diagnosed as short sighted, a pair of glasses aided in his school career at Lourdes Secondary where his love of musicals, drama and sciences led to some great qualifications and middling local drama group musical performances! Moving onto The University of Glasgow Wolfson Medical School Building for 5 years, made a doctor of Ryan, one with Bieber-like long hair that really should have been cut sooner, one whose banter trapped at least a few friends, and one who developed dancing enthusiatically/badly into an art form! To earn beer money he picked up a job in the Childrenswear Department of Next Braehead, where a certain beautiful shop assistant also worked....
