Cheryl was born in Winter Garden on January 15, 1988. Cheryl, her brother John, and her parents lived in Zellwood, Florida, where her parents still live today. Cheryl attended Zellwood Elementary, Apopka Middle, and graduated from Apopka High school. Cheryl started working at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) in July of 2007, and continued working there until October of 2018. She accepted a position with Cerner in Kansas City in August of 2018. Cheryl and Steven relocated to the Kansas City area at the end of October of 2018. 

Steven was born in Michigan on March 15, 1981. Steven and his parents moved to Florida when he was between first and second grade. He grew up in the Central Florida area and graduated high school in 1999. Steven obtained a Bachelor in Solical Work dgree from UCF. While Steven has worked for multiple companies such as Paintball World, Disney, and Rain Forest Cafe, in May of 2011 he started working for Orange County Fire Resecure as a dispatcher. Steven resigned from Orange Country Fire Rescue in September of 2018 as he prepared to move with Cheryl to Kansas City.
