Ok, so the great debate is whether asking for gift cards as a wedding gift is considered "proper etiquette"...now everyone who knows us know we have a new house, have had the housewarming party, and have all of the household items we need. Our next big task is to finish our basement..we figured if we ask for Visa gift cards to put towards the purchase of materials, then great, problem solved. Those close to me say that isnt proper etiquette and we should traditionally sign up for a registry ,so we did the Royal Caribben registry to apply towards the honeymoon, but would like to offer an alternative to everyone...thoughts???
