| | | I met TJ in Study Hall 100 in 7th grade. Because both of our last names start with a K, lucky for him (at the time...later on, lucky for me), we sat next to eachother. We wrote notes back and forth throughout the hour study hall, and it was obvious that he had a crush on me, but I only wanted to be friends (turns out, for the longest time, he saved all of those notes). We continued to be friends, but didn't talk too much throughout high school. He started taking classes at Lake Erie, and he even called my sister a couple of times because he needed his car jumped. I joke with him now that he was flirting with her. Even in college, I had a boyfriend, so we were just friends. Then in March 2013, I messaged him on Facebook, then he asked for my phone number and he started texting me. We had hour long phone conversations, my favorite being when I was in Oklahoma for my sister's bootcamp graduation and we talked on the phone until after midnight, when my dad and I woke up at 4:00am to run 20 miles. Then we started hanging out, and realized we were inseperable. I have a sauce from Taco Bell sitting on our dresser that says "I knew you'd come back for me". |
 | Jennifer and I have known each other since the 7th grade--it's true I had a crush on her for the longest time. I used to carry a notebook/planner (yes I was a geek) around all the time that would have secret love messages about her...wow what a creep I was haha. Turned out all she ever wanted was to be friends because she was already seeing someone. So I moved on and we stayed friends for all the years we were in school together. We may not have talked a lot all the time, but I never had anything bad to say about Jennifer and nor she to I...I think :). So after being friends for years, we both went our seperate ways in college for our first year. She went to Lake Erie and I went to Mount Union. We would Facebook message every so often but she was alway so involved in school and at that time I was so involved in everything else but school. After my freshmen year at Mount and me finding out I would never be the same goalie again after my injury, I decided to come home and commute for school so I could get a job close to home and school. So I ended up going to Lake Erie where Jen went. I saw her a handful of times throughout my time at Lake Erie but she was involved with someone and so was I. We continued to stay friends and keep in contact, up until she messaged me one day saying that she and her longtime boyfriend had broken up and she was a wreck. Seeing her like that really hurt me because Jennifer was always such a great person and friend. So I was just trying to be supportive for her when she needed it. One night she said she was going out with friends for drinks and that she might need me to come pick her up and take her home. It was funny to me at the time because I still to this day think she was joking. Sure enough, later that night, I got the text saying "you should come up to Harry Buffalo". So I decided to go just incase she really did need a ride. When I got there and saw Jen, I just smiled because she had the biggest grin on her face. She was hammered drunk which was funny because I have never seen that side of her before. We were there for maybe an hour or so and then I told her I would take her home so she was safe. (I found out later from Jen that she was scared I was going to sexually attack her...disrespectful babe.:0) Anyways i took her home, made sure she got in bed okay, and called her the next day to make sure she was okay. From then on, me and Jen have been so close to each other it makes others sick. Aside from a couple vacations, I have slept next to this woman for the entire time we have been together. From the very beginning, we have had a great relationship and an amazing understanding of each others wants and needs. She makes me a better person and I thank god every day for blessing me with Jennifer Christine Kirschstein.
