Jessica Doerr

Jessica is my younger twin sister, by 3 minutes. I never call her by my name - our whole life, we have called eachother my sister. I always say she's my other half, but now that I am getting married, I tell her she's my third. Growing up with a twin really is the best thing. She currently lives in South Korea with her husband since they are both in the Army. Being away from her is hard, but it makes our bond that much stronger.

April Loveland

April is my best friend, and has been since 2nd grade. We can go weeks, or even months without talking, and nothing changes. We can pick up right where we left off. She is currently living in Maine, where she is the morning meteorologist in Presque Isle, so it's hard not being able to go right down the road anymore to hang out whenever I want to. I am so proud of her and all of her accomplishments as we have grown up together.

Erica Kirschstein

I am very lucky that I am marrying into such a great family. Erica, aka SIL (sister-in-law), already acts like my big sister. Not only am I gaining a great sister-in-law with this marriage, but I will also be the Aunt to Erica's son Matheu (see below). There is never a dull moment with Erica, and I am glad to have her by my side for our big day.

Lorren Glaros

Lorren has been my friend for almost three years, and I was lucky enough to meet her through TJ. Lorren is like TJ's little sister. I am glad TJ introduced us. It is amazing the people you can meet through someone else, and become great friends with because of them.

Taylor Gribble

Taylor is TJ's second cousin, daughter of Johnny (see below). Once again, I am glad I am marrying into such an amazing family. Taylor is so adorable, and I can't wait to watch her grow into a beautiful young lady.

Daniel Nahm

Dan is one of my best friends--I have known him for over 6 years. He is just one of those guys that you really can count on to be there for you. He has always been there for me when I'm going through something rough and always has advice and gives me his opinions on things which I value greatly. We spend a good amount of time on the xbox together, but honestly, it's a great thing for us. It's our way of relaxing and getting time to talk to each other at the same time. I really miss playing soccer with Dan because he was progressing so much, this dude probably has the quickest learning curve when it comes to things. He never played in his life before and 2 sessions later he starts scoring goals and playing 20 times better. It's fun to share things like that with Dan because he truly enjoys playing soccer...but I can tell that he likes it more when we play together. I think thats just the way we are because we are such close friends, but I really enjoy watching him get better and he likes watching me yell and act like an idiot haha. He is one of the few people that I have stayed in close contact with since after high school. Losing contact is very easy to do, but I always know that I can count on Dan to be there when I need him most. Love you buddy.

Tyler Thomas

Tyler has been like the little brother I always wanted growing up. We have been closer than most brothers at points. I have lived with this kid for weeks at a time and we have spent many days and nights playing video games, kicking the soccer ball around, watching shows, movies, listening to music together, and having conversations about anything. Me and Tyler don't see each other as much as we used to but I could not imagine getting married and not having him up there with me. The thing about me and Tyler is that we have never said one mean thing to each other. It's very unique that you find a friend in your life where you have never had an arguement with, never gotten mad,  and never had a reason to be mad. This is one person that I know will always have my back and he knows I will always have his.

Austin Tomsic

Austin and I get along so well, it's like we have been friends since we were babies. It sucks that we don't get to see each other as much, but when we do, we make it count. I have some of the best memories ever because of this guy. I remember like it was yesterday that I was playing cupid to him and Lorren. I literally would talk to both of them DAILY about why they needed to stop fighting and just fall in love already. I really am glad all of that took place because man you guys made on hell of a kid. We all grew up together and I love that we spent so much time together. We always enjoy sports together, whether it's soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, or football. We have just begun our friendship and I really believe that no matter where we end up, we will always be friends.

Johnny Gribble

This guy has been like an older brother to me since the word go. I have a lot of great memories growing up with my family--we are all really close, especially when we were kids. In the family that I spent a lot of time with growing up, Johnny was one of the oldest and I was one of the youngest, but he would always try to include me in things when he could. Being 7 years apart in age is rough at the teen years, but I can say that they involved me in a lot of things. For that, I am truly greatful to call him one of my favorite and closest cousins. Even though we don't get to see each other as much as we did when we were kids, we both are still doing dumb stuff just fine all the same. I really like spending time with my Gribble side of the family because they are my second family in aspects of who I have spent the most time with in our family. It's a no brainer as to why Karl has a spot up there with me on the biggest day of my life.

Matheu Kirschstein

When I was 18, I told my mother that I wanted to have kids, and that I obviously wanted to have them with the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with, but I would love it if it could happen sooner than later. That being said, the next best thing (probably at the time, THE best thing) that could have happened was my sister getting pregnant and having my nephew, Matheu. This kid has been such a godsend to me because for the first 3 years of his life, I got to live with him and see him grow. I got to see him learn things from me and get habits based on things I do. It's really amazing to think that you can influence someones life so much just based on your actions in every day life. I love this kid almost more than I love anyone or anything. He has to be up there with me on my big day because the day I have kids, I want to remember the people who influenced me to be the man I am today. Matheu, at points, has been like a son, and because of him, I feel that I will be a better father to my kids one day. Thanks little man.

Carter Covert

This little rascal is a fireball and a perfect blend of his parents. I really get a kick out of him everytime I see him. I feel like the older he gets, the closer our relationship gets. Don't let me steer your wrong--me and Carter are not the closest of cousins; however, we are family and our family has been looking out for each other for over 30 years. Somewhere in the middle between the day he was born and now, there is just an automatic trust instilled because we are family. I enjoy spending time with Carter because he is such a funny sweet kid. He always makes me laugh and I would be honored for him to be a part of my wedding day. The day that Jen and I become Man and Wife, I want my family to remember it well. So that may be that unknown trust can grow that much more. Thank you Carter for agreeing to help us out on our special day.
