I worked for Zales Jewlery store when I first moved to Melbourne. Pandora bracelets were just starting to become popular. Like alot of people, I started to build mine. Some people buy them because they look cute, but I actually wanted mine so I could have a keep sake with memories tied to them. Heather was extremely creative, and still is by the way. She will kill me if I said was. She purchased a diamond ring charm, and had it gift wrapped. I can remember her giving me my gift and acting very nervous when presenting it. I was sitting in a recliner in our condo, and she got down on one knee an sat next to me while I opened it. At that time I thought she was just getting close to me while presenting me a gift. I opened the box, and saw the diamond ring charm, and looked at her, and she proposed to me. I was so excited, and felt so special that someone would want to share thier whole life with me. I immmediately said yes after laughing. Back them we never dreamed that we would be able to walk down the isle and really say I DO!~ It was just for us, so we could celebrate our commitment to one another. Now we can officially do it.
