6 years ago...I had just come from one of the most challenging years personally and professionally. Over the years I had always heard a saying...follow your heart. I really didn't know what that meant at that point. I was always very private, and never let people in. When I first met Heather, we were actually co-workers, and we always had a connection deaper then we really knew at the time. I believe that god always has a plan for us. Sometimes we may not agree with what he brings to us, but there are just as many rewards if you look deep enough. Heather and I joke all the time, because if it wasn't for her, we would not be together today. I followed my heart and let a stranger in. She is so compassionate, and has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. I know I bring this out in her!! LOL. She helped me get thru a tough time, and that led us to an amazing relationship. I found my solemate many years before, and never really knew it. She is the better half of me, and I will love her till I'm bald and toothless. With that being said, she will even love me!! She accepts me for all my stregthens and weeknesses.
